THE MYSTERY OF GREAT BEER challenges the spirit of adventure in all who seek a higher level to this ancient brew. Dark Hollow blends the miracle of two crafts—brewing and distillation—to create a work greater than the sum of its parts.
Our once-a-year Reserve edition of this hallowed imperial stout has been aged in barrels from Buffalo Trace Distillery for a full year, changing and mellowing with the roll of the seasons.
Enjoy the best of 2020: Dark Hollow brewed with double the roast barley, double the chocolate malt, and double the oats, and then concealed in the darkness at the back of the barrel room, waiting to emerge on December 5th.
Now entice your senses with our 6th annual Variant Series from Concealed Darkness. Variant #2 was aged solely in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels and dosed with natural orange citrus and cream flavorings throughout its year-long slumber at the back of our barrel-aging cellar.
Orange and cream are a classic fit, but opening up these flavor notes to the substantial depth and strength of our reserve Imperial Stout brings something unexpected and wonderful to the normally simple "creamsicle" experience. Enjoy this limited edition take on the best of 2020.
Now entice your senses with our 6th annual Variant Series from Concealed Darkness. Variant #1 was aged solely in bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery, with the addition of cacao nibs soaked in a natural hazelnut flavoring.
The natural pairing of raw chocolate and nut flavors--the hazelnut being the acme of this marriage--plays with the deep chocolate malt, oak, and natural vanilla flavors from the beer and the barrel. Enjoy this limited edition take on the best of 2020.
Now entice your senses with our 6th annual Variant Series from Concealed Darkness. Variant #3 was aged solely in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels and given a special winter kick from the extreme Northeast with Vermont Grade A Organic Dark Amber Maple syrup and graham cracker flavoring.
If the crackle of a fire on a cold night in deep woods could be turned into a drink, it would taste like this. Enjoy our special limited edition take on the best of 2020.
